Holiday Gift

As the end of 2024 approached, I wanted to produce something as a gift to my listeners. I received some beatboxing from my friend ilyBBY and used it as inspiration for a holiday-inspired song. Sleighbells, piano, and so on.

Although I was pleased with the end result, I felt that in the spirit of giving, I wanted to include ilyBBY more in the finished work. Thus, I asked them to contribute some singing, and we realized together that it could then be an entire song, in two parts. One, a tribute to what we may lose in family traditions, and what we can gain by working to create our own.

As there are still many instrumental holiday songs, I felt it appropriate to ensure that both the full song and the instrumental version were available.
